Itinerary Tour 8 Alice Springs to Sydney 21 Days

Day 1 - Alice Springs NT Australia.

First we welcome you to Across Australia Outback Tours and do a short induction. This is the day we explore Alice Springs and the surounding area or we can go for a quick trip to see Aileron Roadhouse? After our day of exploring we book into our Holiday Park, for dinner and drinks and a chat about the day.

Day 2 - Alice Springs NT to Kings Canyon NT Australia.

After breakfast we leave Alice Springs and head on a scenic drive through this rugged country to Kings Canyon, once there you have the opportunity to walking the 3 hour circuit along the rim of the stunning canyon and stop for breathtaking views down into the canyon gorge. Then it is to our Holiday Park for a relaxing drink another sunset while we cook you dinner and you relax with a drink and chat about the days events.

Day 3 - Kings Canyon NT to Ayres Rock (Uluru) NT Australia.

After a late breakfast we leave Kings Canyon and head to Ayres Rock (Uluru), we make a few stops along the way at the viewing point lookouts, there is a lot more to Ayers Rock then just the rock itself, so once we have booked in to our Holiday Park, you can all go off exploring on the mountain bikes or electric scooters, and then back to the holiday park for dinner and sunset drinks and talk about the day we had exploring.

Day 4 - Ayres Rock (Uluru) NT Australia.

This is a big day, after breakfast, we head into Ayres Rock (Uluru) Kata Tjuta National Park where we tour around the rock stopping for as many photographic opportunities as you like, once you have soaked in as much of the rock in the morning we head to another cluster of rocks near by, Kata Tjuta / Mount Olga where we spend some time for you all to soak in all its beauty. Then we head back to Ayres Rock to see its beauty in the afternoon light, then its back to the Holiday Park. This is another opportunity to make use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore the area, once back to our Holiday Park its time for dinner and drinks and a sunset of the rock.

Day 5 - Ayres Rock NT to Marla SA Australia.

After breakfast we head to Marla, this is a scenic drive through some harsh country, this part of the tour takes us to Marla Road House, the reasons we stop here is so you get to stay at an authentic Australian Road House. This is a good opportunity for some rest and relaxation or go for a desert walk, sit by the pool or just talk to the locals in this bush pub. then its dinner and drinks on sunset.

Day 6 - Marla SA to Coober Pedy SA Australia.

After breakfast we leave the beautiful Marla Road House and head to Coober Pedy an opal mining town, where we stay in an under ground Hotel for the night, This is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore this unique or even just walk around and explore this quirky town, then its back to the hotel for dinner and drinks.

Accommodation - Under Ground Hotel - (1 night) Included Activities - Tour Coober Pedy. - Over night stay in underground Hotel. Meals Included - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 7 - Coober Pedy SA to Lake Hart SA Australia.

After breakfast we head on this scenic drive through some unique country side to Wirraminna Lake Hart for our one and only free camp and stay under the stars right next to this beautiful flat white dry lake, a sight to be seen. This is a great time to make use of the two mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore the white lake and surrounding area, then back for drinks chat and Dinner. I will cook you dinner while you sit on the edge of the white dry lake to watch the sunset.

Accommodation - Free Camp (Motor Home facilities only) - (1 night) Included Activities - Tour through remote country. - Overnight stay at Lake Hart. Meals Included - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 8 - Lake Hart SA to Port Augusta SA Australia.

After breakfast we head to Woomera, this is where the atomic boom was tested and is still today a military rock and missile test area, we then head to Port Augusta and book into our Holiday Park where you can just relax or make use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore ththis unique coastal town, then back for drinks chat and Dinner. Once everyone is back at our I will cook you all dinner while you all relax with a drink.

Day 9 - Port August SA to Broken Hill NSW Australia.

This is an early start day and we head to Broken Hill, this is a town with a lot of places to visit, so on the way we talk about what attractions we would like to visit, we should get in to Broken Hill early afternoon which gives us some time to go exploring. Or you can make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore or we just tour in the Motorhome. Then it is on to our Holiday Park for drinks chat and dinner.

Day 10 - Broken Hill NSW to Mildura VIC Australia.

After breakfast and maybe some more touring around Broken Hill, we head through to the beautiful town of Mildura on the NSW VIC border and book into our Holiday Park on the edge of the mighty Murray River. This is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore this unique river side town or just relaxing afternoon by the river, once everyone is back to our holiday park we settle in for Dinner and sunset drinks over the Murray River.

Day 11 - Mildura VIC Barossa Valley SA Australia.

After breakfast we visit some wineries and head through to the beautiful town of Renmark and then it is on to the Barossa Valley Wine country, we book into our Holiday Park and this is another place to make use of the Mountain Bikes and electric scooters to go exploring the local wineries, then it's back to our Holiday Park for Drinks Chat and Dinner.

Day 12 - Barossa Valley SA to Cape Jaffa SA Australia.

After a late breakfast we head into Adelaide for lunch and to stock up on supplies and a bit of a look around. And then through the Adelaide Hills and on to Murray Bridge. Then we head to Cape Jaffa and book into our Holiday Park at Cape Jaffa. This is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore or head down to the beach and then through to our coastal holiday park at Cape Jaffa and maybe treat ourself to some local seafood for Dinner and Drinks.

Day 13 - Cape Jaffa SA to Mount Gambier SA Australia.

After breakfast, this is another day of seeing more of our beautiful Coast line and coastal towns and drive through wine country and stop at one or two of the wineries and then book into our Holiday Park right on the edge of the Blue water Volcano that you are able to walk around or use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore, then it back to the holiday park for Dinner and Drinks.

Day 14 - Mount Gambier SA to Warrnambool VIV Australia.

We leave Mount Gambier and head to Warrnambool along the way we follow the beautiful Coast line and coastal towns along the way like Nelson, Portland and Port Fairy and crossing the Victorian South Australian border. Then its on to the seaside coastal town of Warrnambool, where we book into our Holiday Park for a relaxing afternoon or go exploring the its back to camp for dinner and drinks.

Day 15 - Warrnambool VIC to Lorne VIC Australia.

This is a day of seeing a lot of the Great Ocean Road icons, after leaving Beautiful Warrnambool, we head towards the spectacular Great Ocean Road and all it has to offer, beautiful Coves, Beaches, Cliffs and the sea side towns like Peterborough, Port Campbell, Princetown, Cape Otway and Apollo Bay, to view icons like The Cove, The Bay of Islands, London Bridge, The Gorge and the Twelve Apostles, to take in all it's beauty, we stop whenever you want, stop for lunch at which ever place takes your fancy and thru to sea side coastal town of Apollo Bay and its sea side waterfall and then thru the mountains and the beautiful drive on cliffs edge to Lorne and book into our Holiday Park for dinner and drinks and beach walks.

Day 16 - Lorne VIC to Echuca VIC Australia.

Over Breakfast we discuss the rout we take to visit the Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Geelong and visit Torquay the home of Bells Beach, Melbourne, Ballarat Castlemaine Bendigo, this is a day of exploring places, towns, and cities you all want to see, then it is in to the beautiful Murray River and the town of Echuca and book into our Holiday Park right on the edge of the Mighty Murray River for dinner and sunset drinks.

Accommodation - Holiday Park (with good facilities) - (1 night) Included Activities - Narana Aboriginal Culture Centre. - Tour through Historical towns. - Tour around Echuca. Meals Included - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 17 - Echuca VIC to Albury NSW Australia.

After breakfast we go on a Paddle Boat ride on the Mighty Murray River and then head through Ned Kelly country and the famous town of Glenrowen Ned Kelly's Last stand thru to Wangaratta and the historical town of Beechworth high in the mountains to Albury/Wodonga (this is also a border crossing between Victoria and New South Wales), this is another great opportunity to take the mountain bikes or electric scooters and really explore this town, then once you are all back the the Holiday Park we have dinner and drinks and to relax after a busy day.

Day 18 - Albury NSW to Jindabyne NSW Australia.

In the morning we head through to Lake Hume part of the Mighty Murray System then, through to Corryong Man from Snowy River country and then on to another lake side town Khancoban for a lunch break with a walk along the lakes dam wall with the Snowy mountains as a back drop and thru Mount Kosciuszko (The Australian Snowy Mountains) with all its beauty, as we come down the mountain we head for Jindabyne and its beautiful lake, where we book into our Holiday Park, this is another great opportunity to take the mountain bikes or electric scooters and explore this town once everyone is back at the Holiday Park its time for Dinner and Drinks

Day 19 - Jindabyne NSW to Canberra ACT Australia.

After Breakfast we we head to Cooma for some lunch on our way to Canberra The (Australian National Capital Territory) and we drive around to show you some of the key icons Canberra has to offer, there is so much to see and do. We book into our Holiday Park, this stay is a great chance for every one to utilise the Mountain Bikes or take the electric scooters for a run to go exploring, once everyone is back to the Holiday Park it is time for Dinner and great time to reflect and chat.

Day 20 - Canberra ACT to Shellharbour NSW Australia.

In the morning we head to Bungendore and Tarago then through the Jerrawangala national park where have some lunch. Then its on to Nowra and Kiama on to Shellharbour where we book into our seaside Holiday Park, it is time for Dinner and this is our last night together so it is a great time to reflect and chat about the adventure we have all just had.

Day 21 - Shellharbour NSW to Sydney NSW Australia.

This is our final day together, we head along the coast to Woolongong and all the coastal towns it has to offer, we stop where you like and then on to the beautiful Seagate Bridge for a walk on this amazing structure with ocean views, we can can then take you on a tour of Sydney, Bondi Beach, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Darling Harbour etc... at the end of the day we take you to where ever you are staying in Sydney or to the Airport, Hotels etc...
