Itinerary Tour 7 Sydney to Alice Springs 21 Days

Day 1 - Sydney NSW to Shellharbour NSW Australia.

First we welcome you to Across Australia Outback Tours and do a short induction. Then we head to the beautiful Seagate Bridge for a walk on this amazing structure with ocean views, next we do a drive along the coast through the Wollongong and stop at Shellharbour and book into our seaside holiday park. This is a good time to go to the beach or just relax or utilise the two Mountain Bikes or take the electric scooters and tour this beautiful seaside town, once you are all back to our Holiday Park sit back while I cook dinner for you all.

Day 2 - Shellharbour NSW to Canberra ACT Australia.

After breakfast, we head through Kiama and Nowra and Jerrawangala national park and stop for some lunch. Next we head to Tarago and Bungendore and then head to Canberra the Australia Capital Territory and show you some of the key icons Canberra has to offer. Then we book into our holiday park. This is another great chance for every one to utilise the Mountain Bikes or take the electric scooters to go exploring this unique city, once everyone is back to the Holiday park it is time for Dinner and drinks.

Day 3 - Canberra ACT to Jindabyne NSW Australia.

After breakfast, we drive around to show you some more of the key icons Canberra has to offer. Then we head to Cooma for some lunch on our way to the lake side town of Jindabyne. This stay is a great chance for every one to utilise the Mountain Bikes or take the electric scooters to go exploring, once everyone is back to the Holiday park it is time for Dinner and drinks.

Day 4 - Jindabyne NSW to Albury NSW Australia.

In the morning we head through the Mount Kosciuszko National Park (The Australian Snowy Mountains) then on to another lake side town Kdancoban for a lunch break and a walk along the lakes dam wall with the Snowy mountains as a back drop. Then through to Corryong Man from Snowy River country and on to the mighty Murray River with a stop along the way at Lake Hume Village, then straight through to Albury/Wodonga (this is also a border town between New South Wales and Victoria), go for walks and a ride on mountain bikes or electric scooters and really explore this town, then once you are all back the the Holiday Park we have dinner and drinks and to relax after a busy day.

Day 5 - Albury NSW to Echuca VIC Australia.

After an early breakfast we head through Ned Kelly country and the historical town of Beechworth on to Wangarattha and to the famous town of Glenrowen Ned Kelly's Last stand for some lunch. Then head through to Shepparton and the straight through to another historical town Echuca for a Paddle Steam Boat ride on the Mighty Murray River, this is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore Echuca. then it is back to the holiday Park for Dinner chat and drinks.

Day 6 - Echuca VIC to Lorne VIC Australia.

Over Breakfast we discuss the rout we take to Melbourne, Bendigo, Castlemaine, Ballarat and we visit the Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Geelong and visit Torquay the home of Bells Beach, this is a day of exploring places, towns, and cities you all want to see, then it is in to the beautiful sea side town of Lorne on the Great Ocean Road where we stop some where for dinner and a relaxing drinks at our holiday park, this will have been a big day of driving.

Day 7 - Lorne VIC to Warrnambool VIC Australia.

After breakfast we head along the spectacular Great Ocean Road and all it has to offer, beautiful Coves, beaches, Cliffs, waterfalls and the seaside towns like Apollo Bay, Cape Otway, Princetown, Port Campbell, Peterborough, for icons like The Twelve Apostles, The Gorge, London Bridge, The Bay of Islands and The Cove, to take in all it's beauty, we stop whenever you want, stop for lunch at which ever place takes your fancy and then on to sea side coastal town of Warrnambool for dinner and drinks.

Day 8 - Warrnambool VIC to Mount Gambier SA Australia.

This is a day of seeing more of our beautiful Coast line and coastal towns and visit a blue water Volcano and cross the Victorian South Australian border. Towns we visit Port Fairy, Portland, Nelson and then book into our Holiday Park right on the edge of the Blue water Volcano that you are able to walk around or make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore and then it back to the holiday park for Dinner and Drinks.

Day 9 - Mount Gambier SA to Cape Jaffa SA Australia.

After breakfast, this is another day of seeing more of our beautiful Coast line and coastal towns and drive through wine country and stop at one or two of the wineries. Then we head to Cape Jaffa and book into our Holiday Park at Cape Jaffa. This is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore and then through to the coastal holiday park at Cape Jaffa for Dinner and Drinks.

Day 10 - Cape Jaffa SA to Barossa Valley SA Australia.

After a late breakfast we head to Murray Bridge through the Adelaide Hills in to Adelaide for lunch and to stock up on supplies and a bit of a look around. Then it is on to the Barossa Valley Wine country, we book into our Holiday Park and this is another place to make use of the Mountain Bikes and electric scooters to go exploring the local wineries, then it's back to our Holiday Park for Drinks Chat and Dinner.

Day 11 - Barossa Valley SA to Mildura VIC Australia.

After a breakfast we visit some wineries and head through to the beautiful town of Renmark and on to Mildura and book into our Holiday Park on the edge of the mighty Murray River. This is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore this unique river side town, once everyone is back to our holiday park we settle in for Dinner and sunset drinks.

Day 12 - Mildura VIC to Broken Hill NSW Australia.

This is an early start day and we head to Broken Hill, this is a town with a lot of places to visit, so on the way we talk about what attractions we would like to visit, we should get in to Broken Hill early afternoon which gives us plenty of time to go exploring. Or you can make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore. Then it is on to our Holiday Park for drinks chat and dinner.

Day 13 - Broken Hill NSW to Port Augusta SA Australia.

After breakfast we head to Port Augusta exploring towns and places along the way, then we book in to our Holiday Park early for an afternoon of rest and relaxation or exploring this unique coastal town, this is a great time to make use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore, then back to the Holiday Park for drinks chat and Dinner.

Day 14 - Port Augusta SA to Lake Hart SA Australia.

After breakfast we head to Woomera, this is where the atomic bomb was tested and is still today a military rocket and missile test area, we then head to Wirraminna Lake Hart for our one and only free camp under the stars right next to this beautiful flat white dry lake, a sight to be seen. This is a great time to use the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore the white lake and surrounding area, then back for drinks chat and Dinner. I will cook you dinner while you sit on the edge of the white dry lake to watch the beautiful sunset.

Accommodation - Free Camp (Motor Home facilities only) - (1 night) Included Activities - Tour through Woomera and missile base. - Overnight stay at Lake Hart. Meals Included - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 15 - Lake Hart SA to Coober Pedy SA Australia.

After breakfast we leave the beautiful white Lake Hart and head to Coober Pedy an opal mining town, where we stay in an under ground Hotel for the night, This is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore this unique or even just walk around and explore this quirky town, then its back to the hotel for dinner and drinks.

Accommodation - Under Ground Hotel - (1 night) Included Activities - Over night stay in underground Hotel. - Tour around Coober Pedy. Meals Included - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 16 - Coober Pedy SA to Marla SA Australia.

After a late breakfast, this part of the tour takes us to Marla Road House where we stay at the Road House Camping and Caravan Park, one of the reasons we stop here is so you get to stay at an authentic Australian Road House. This is a good opportunity for some rest and relaxation or go for a desert walk, sit by the pool or just talk to the locals in this bush pub. then its dinner and drinks on sunset.

Day 17 - Marla SA to Kings Canyon NT Australia.

After an early Breakfast we head to Kings Canyon, another reason for an early start, is to capture the beauty of this area. This will be a big day, first the Drive to Kings Canyon once there you have the opportunity to walking the 3 hour circuit along the rim of the stunning canyon and stopping for breathtaking views down into the canyon gorge. Then its back to our Holiday Park for a relaxing drink and dinner after our big day.

Day 18 Kings Canyon NT to Ayres Rock (Uluru) NT Australia.

After breakfast we leave Kings Canyon head into Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park Ayres Rock, there are 3 viewing points/lookouts along the way, 1 is a unique lone mountian in the middle of nowhere and 2 places to photograph Ayres Rock. Then we book into our Holiday Park. This is another great place to make use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore the area, once back to the Holiday Park its time for dinner and drinks and view the rock at sunset.

Accommodation - Holiday Park (with good facilities) - (1 night) Included Activities - Drive through red centre. - Ayres Rock Tour (Uluru). - Kings Canyon Tour. Meals Included - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 19 Ayres Rock (Uluru) NT Australia.

After breakfast, we head into the National Park of Ayres Rock (Uluru) where we tour around the rock stopping for as many photographic opportunities as you like, once you have soaked in as much of the rock in the morning we head to another cluster of rocks near by, Kata Tjuta / Mount Olga where we spend some time for you all to soak in all its beauty. Then we head back to Ayres Rock to see its beauty in the afternoon light, then its back to the Holiday Park. This is another town to make great use of the mountain bikes and electric scooters to explore the area, once back to the Holiday Park its time for dinner and drinks and a sunset of the rock.

Day 20 - Ayres Rock (Uluru) NT to Alice Springs NT Australia.

After breakfast we head to Alice Springs, there is plenty to see along the way, but we want to get into Alice Springs early afternoon and book int our holiday Park, so we can all go exploring what this amazing town has to offer, you can all go off exploring on the mountain bikes or electric scooters or we can go touring in the motorhome. Thne its back to our Holiday Park for dinner, drinks and a chat as it is our last night on our tour.

Day 21 - Alice Springs NT Australia.

This is the day you explore Alice Springs or go out on the mountain bikes or go touring on the Sacks Madass motor bike, or we all go touring where ever you want me to take you for the day, we can even make a quick trip to see Aileron Roadhouse? This is your day to totally choose your itinerary at the end of the day we take you to where ever you are staying in Alice spring or to the Airport, Hotels etc...
